This campaign is to mark the start of pride month which is from 1st to 30th of June.
LGBT Pride Month occurs in the United States to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969. As a result, many pride events are held during this month to recognize the impact LGBT people have had in the world. Three presidents of the United States have officially declared a pride month.
What is the meaning behind Pride?
1 : the quality or state of being proud:
inordinate self-esteem, a reasonable self-respect relationship,
We all wore a colour from the rainbow flag which is the symbol for pride month. I wore red as the colours all have different meanings: Red = Life. Orange = Healing. Yellow = Sun. Green = Nature.
