International pageant day and I'd like to reflect on Empowerment of women.

Miss Elegance Of The World Miss Universal Global Pageant

In London, "Women's Voice" can refer to various initiatives and organizations that aim to empower women and address issues of gender equality, such as the Bristol Women's Voice and the Women's Voices Now.

Our wonderful pageant community is a safe place for so many women to feel empowered. In the community we all come from different backgrounds and have different stories, we are often inclusive of disabilities also. Not to mention the fantastic work we all do for charity. We are an unbreakable force. Often with Ms being a large category.

Often children grow up in blended families or with seperated parents. With lower marriage success rates, and fewer young marriages than before. Is there a connection to the empowerment of women? Reading the following, I wonder do we have a different generation of men or did women used to tolerate more?

"The more she tried, the WORSE he got. The more she cried, the less he cared. The more she gave, the more he took. The more she did, the less he noticed. She was mentally, physically, and emotionally drained. She didn't leave because she stopped loving him, she left because she couldn't love him ANYMORE. It became so unhealthy, she no longer wanted to live like that.

She remembered the PAIN. She remembered begging him to love her. She remembered the sleepless nights, barely eating, and lying to everyone about the times he broke her. She remembered everything he did that made her feel less than a woman, and in that moment, she FINALLY knew... she was done.

We try so hard to forget the pain in our minds, but our hearts NEVER do, no matter how much we forgive. Stop forgetting. Start remembering. Because love

SHOULDN'T hurt."

Those lucky in love enjoy every moment, for those who need reminding love shouldn't hurt and for those powerful queens raising awareness on many issues and for empowering us to want better for ourselves.
